We help growing families connect with their little loves, through products that encourage them to spend time and special moments together.
Our kids are growing every second of the day, and the amount of time we have with them is limited. They're only little for a while, and our products help parents turn those would-be-fleeting memories into something they can hold onto and cherish for years to come. We get the same number of minutes/hours each day, and hope that our products help parents create special moments to bond with their little loves - an excuse to spend some extra time together, no matter how big or small the occasion - whether carving out time for a milestone photo, measuring up on a growth chart, or cuddling up with a bedtime book from babe's personalized shelf.
Since 2016, Birchmark Designs has grown from a hobby into a small business that supports our family. We’re immensely grateful for the flexibility this ‘job’ affords us. We get to be present for breakfast, for dance-offs, for board-game marathons, and for bedtime. We’re delighting in the ability to watch our children grow, and loving the adventures and chance to make something special happen each day. We're a crafty (and silly) bunch of Ohioans, and together we’re making memories; making our mark.
Straight from our family to yours, everything you see is made by the hands right here (and the manly ones below). We cut, sand, stain, paint, sand some more, and package up every order from our backyard wood shop and print studio. Every purchase lets us continue doing what we love - and doing that happy dance.
Names are the sweetest sounds in any language; our products celebrate yours. On bookends, on birth stats, and on milestone markers, we seriously love making it yours.
We're downright picky, literally. We hand pick the wood we use for every piece, and find new uses for those that don't cut the mustard. We want you to be proud to use and to gift what we send, and we genuinely hope that shows. We envision you using and cherishing your goodies for years to come.
Starting with raw, unfinished wood, gives us a blank slate to create whatever it is that's in our hearts.
